With increasing globalization many new foreign channels are entering India,making India a global player in the International Market. Therefore at MIT-ISBJ we want to give students an exposure at an International Level so theyare prepared to face challenges not only at a national but also at an International level.

5. What is the duration of this course and is it a full time course?
The duration of the course is two years. It is full time.
6. What are the specializations?
Students can select specialization in the first year itself. Only the theory lectures will be common in the first year but the practical, projects, assignments will be separate on the basis of specialization.

8. Can I join any other degree course while doing this course?
No. You can not join any other degree course while doing this course because this is full time PGP course.
9. What can be the careers according to specialization?
Broadcast Journalism : Reporter, News Anchor, or News Editor.
Television Production : Producer, Cameraman, or Video Editor.
10. What is the Procedure of applying at ISBJ?
Prospectus and application form is available at the office on the payment of Rs. 1000 (Rs. One Thousand Only). You can also download the form from www.mit-isbj.com. The form can be submitted to MIT ISBJ by post, with DD of RS. 1000/- in favor of MIT-ISBJ, payable at Pune. (Cheques are not acceptable). Prospectus will be delivered by post after receiving the application with the DD.( No courier charges.)
11. What are the educational requirements/qualifications to be eligible for the course?
Any one who has completed 3 years bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university is eligible to apply. Students having appeared at final level of graduation and awaiting results may also apply.
12. What documents/certificates are to be submitted with the application and Prospectus?
You will be required to submit photocopy of Xth, XIIth , Graduation Certificate, Migration Certificate, Leaving Certificate of and two passport size photographs.
13. What is the selection procedure?
Written exam with objective as well as descriptive questions (Questions would be based on general knowledge, current affairs, television, films etc) followed by a personal interview would check your aptitude for media course
14. What is the placement scenario?
We are having an efficient placement cell which will help you for internship with renowned channels & production houses. Moreover you will get good placements in Hindi, English, regional channels & production houses. The figures for new launching channels would assure you the number of opportunities in media.
15. Is there any tie up with banks for loan facilities?
MIT- ISBJ can guide for bank loans for education. Students may approach the suggested bank and branch with necessary documents.
16. What are the accommodation facilities for the students?
College as well as private accomodation available near MIT Kothrud campus.
17. Do we have internship as a part of the course?
Students will have internship in the second year, with a renowned channel or a production company.
18. Is the study tour included in the course?
Yes. Students will be participating in a study tour at U.K to some of the renowned channels or production Companies.
