Message from The Dean
It's always a pleasure when you see young minds focussed on making a difference to the society they live in, and as I see it the best way of doing so is through mass media.
The evolution of Journalism in India has been awe-inspiring. Today our media spectrum is kaleidoscopic and offer myriad of challenging opportunities for the deserving ones.
In the complex society of today, responsible use of mass media can reinstate faith in truth and this is the very element which can make or break a nation. At MIT-ISBJ, we see a new breed of courageous youngsters take on envious positions equipped with knowledge backed by values which inculcate a strong spirit of patriotic fervor. We will create responsible media professionals in today's media scenario. Knowledge of media ethics and laws alone would not help to enhance sense of responsibility. It is to be taken as mission to mould tomorrow's generation of young journalists.
