
Pune, May 18 Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) is introducing a post-graduate course in broadcasting and journalism from the coming academic year (2008-09).
The duration of the course will be two years, which will be run by International School of Broadcasting and Journalism (ISBJ), an autonomous institute of MIT.
Vishwanath Karad, founder-director of MIT announced the course in a press conference on Saturday. Rahul Karad, dean of ISBJ and Makarand Malawe, associate director, ISBJ were also present.
The course includes broadcast journalism, television production, channel design and management, multimedia and new media. As many as 60 students will be accommodated for the course.
